Botanic Gardens Music Festival

Join the Singapore Symphony Orchestra as it celebrates its 30th birthday with two concerts at the first-ever CIMB-SSO Botanic Gardens Music Festival.

The SSO will liven up your Sunday with a string of popular classics while you relax and enjoy a picnic in the Palm Valley with family and friends. Expect an exciting afternoon of activities and music at the birthday bash.

Maestro Lim Yau will conduct the SSO in some of the most invigorating music ever written, including Ravel’s Bolero, Mendelssohn’s Wedding March from A Midsummer Night's Dream and the lively and energetic Voices of Spring by Johann Strauss.

Date: Sunday, 26 April 2009 and 17 May 2009
Time: 6pm
Venue: Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage, Singapore Botanic Gardens

Free admission to both concerts. Please note that concerts are subject to prevailing weather conditions.
