I'd do more hugging, and less tugging.

I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.

I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.

And more about the power of love.

Free Talk: The Primary Education System and Primary One Registration

The primary school years are focused on helping children build character, acquire sound values and good habits, as well as develop language and numeracy skills. A school principal will share with parents on what their children will be learning in primary school, what additional support schools will provide, and how the new Subject-based Banding works. She will also bring parents through the Primary One Registration process, to highlight what parents need to take note of when registering their child for Primary One.
