Highlights: Artists such as Project SuperStar 2 female winner Chen Diya, Mando singer Gary Chaw and Malay rock band Rancour perform with DJ Bukoh Mary as host. DJ Jason Chow spins after midnight.

CHIJMES

Where: 30 Victoria Street

When: 31 December 2008 from 10.30pm

Highlights: Local percussion group Wicked Aura perform. Other performers include belly dancers and jugglers.

ESPLANADE OUTDOOR THEATRE

Where: 1 Esplanade Drive

When: 31 December 2008 from 7pm

Highlights: Up-and-coming home-grown bands Quasimodo, You and Whose Army and the wacky Tiramisu band, known for their chicken dance routine, perform.

CLARKE QUAY CENTRAL SQUARE

Where: 3 River Valley Road

When: 31 December 2008 from 10pm

Highlights: More than 20 performers from roving samba dancers and percussionists to stilt walkers and live bands entertain. Actor Chua Enlai hosts the countdown.

ASIAN CIVILISATIONS MUSEUM

Where: 1 Empress Place

When: 31 December 2008 (8pm to midnight)

Highlights: The 91.3FM DJs host and spin the latest hits. Win prizes during game segments. Free admission to the museum from 5pm to 1am. Goodie bags for the first 200 visitors.
